Women's Crisis Center, A Mission of Mid-Coast Family Services

A New Domestic Violence Shelter for the Golden Crescent

Welcome to our dream!  For eight years, Mid-Coast Family Services has longed for the day when we are able to build a new emergency shelter for victims of family violence.  As the need for temporary housing for victims of abuse in the Victoria County area grows, our Family Violence Program is growing to meet that need.  And now we have launched a capital campaign to build a facility large enough to comfortably accomodate all of these victims and secure enough to give them the protection and peace of mind that the rest of us often take for granted.

You can be a part of the dream!  The land has been purchased; the plans have been drawn; the stakes are being placed. Now is the time to watch this dream come true.  The new Women's Crisis Center will be a refuge and a new start for those family violence victims who have no other hope.  Won't you consider partnering with us to help meet the needs of our community?  Click on "Donate Now" at the top of this page to join in this exciting venture!

Please continue to check this site for more details as they become available.  We're excited about this wonderful opportunity to do bigger and better things for victims of family violence and want you to share in the joy of seeing a job well done!
