Mid-Coast FamilyServices welcomes non-cash donations of many kinds.  "In-kind" donations of services or products can be made to any of our programs.  For items that would be helpful specifically for shelter residents, see the "Little Things Mean A Lot" page.  Populations of both the Gateway Project and the Family Violence Shelter often find the holidays to be a lonely and stressful time, as many have little or no family with whom to share these special days.  Donations of gifts, decorations, or other season-appropriate items would be greatly appreciated by these families and individuals.

The Youth Services Summer Camp also welcomes donations of goods or services that can be used in crafts, lessons, field trips, or snack times.  Merchants are also encouraged to become involved in the Y.O.U. program which encourages teenaged students to remain drug-free.

New or gently-used clothing, toys, household items, or furniture are always welcome at the Thrift 'N' Gift.  Proceeds from the sale of these items is used to support the Mid-Coast Family Services Family Violence Shelter.

But you don't necessarily have to have "things" to offer a donation.  Mid-Coast Family Services deeply values the time and commitment of our dedicated volunteers and would be proud to list you amoung that number.  Feel free to contact us if any volunteer opportunities are currently available.
