Offices in Victoria and San Antonio serve Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Calhoun, Comal, DeWitt, Dimmit, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Jackson, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, LaSalle, Lavaca, Maverick, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Val Verde, Victoria, Wilson, and Zavala Counties. 

Mid-Coast Family Services offers comprehensive services for adults and youth who have been affected by alcohol and drug abuse.  Licensed counselors conduct evaluations to determine the level of drug and/or alcohol problem.  Referrals are then provided for individuals and families to support groups, health and human service agencies, outpatient and/or residential substance abuse treatment.  Counselors provide motivational counseling when appropriate to ensure each client's success in their journey to a substance-free life.

Individuals who enter residential treatment will receive follow-up services to determine outcomes and the need for possible further services.

Crisis calls are answered 24-hours a day, seven days a week at both locations.

We are required to utilize the Texas Department of State Health Services Priority Population Criteria when providing screening, assessment, and referral to treatment services.  While we make every effort to see all clients at their scheduled appointment times, we WILL give preference to clients in the following order of priority:

1. Pregnant injecting drug user
2. Pregnant drug user
3. Injecting drug user
4. Parents will children in foster care
5. Veterans with honorable discharge
